# Templates and campaigns

> Choose or build a phishing template, target an audience, schedule delivery and follow up on results.

## Templates

Every campaign starts from a template: the lure itself and, for email, the landing page shown after a click and the awareness page shown once the simulation is revealed. Start from the **Template gallery**, a Cimento-maintained set of scenarios across channels, or build your own under **Admin → Phishing → Templates**.

Templates are channel-specific, and each one defines which interactions count as a failure, for example clicking the link or submitting credentials.

## Create a campaign

    The campaign's channel must match the template's. SMS, voice and multi-channel appear once employees are enrolled for them.

    Departments, groups or individual employees from your synced directory.

    Choose a start and end. Cimento spreads delivery across the window rather than sending to everyone at once, so employees do not receive identical messages at the same moment.

  <Step title="Set the tracking window">
    How long after delivery an interaction is still attributed to the campaign.

  <Step title="Launch">
    Campaigns start as drafts and can be scheduled ahead of time.

## Monitor and follow up

The campaign page shows delivery progress and, per employee, whether the message was opened, clicked, submitted, replied to or reported. Failures can automatically assign remediation training (see [Training campaigns](/training/campaigns)).

## Branding

Awareness pages and notifications can carry your organization's branding, configured under **Admin → Organization → Branding**, so employees see a familiar look at the moment the simulation is revealed.
