# SMS and voice simulations

> Enroll employee phone numbers so Cimento can run SMS and voice phishing simulations.

Cimento operates the phone numbers that send SMS and place voice calls, so there is no carrier account to set up. Your side of the setup is deciding which employees may receive them.

## Enroll employees

Go to **Admin → Integrations → Messaging & SMS** and open **Phone enrollments**. It lists employees who have a phone number, and you opt each one in to SMS, voice, both or neither.

Phone numbers come from your directory. Okta and Microsoft Entra ID can send them; Google Workspace sync doesn't import them. See [Employee directory](/getting-started/employee-directory). If your directory doesn't supply phone numbers, ask your Cimento contact.

SMS becomes selectable as a campaign channel once at least one employee is enrolled.

## Voice simulations

Voice (vishing) campaigns place AI-driven calls to enrolled numbers following a scripted scenario. Use the **Vishing simulator** under **Admin → Phishing** to hear a scenario before running it against employees. Multi-channel scenarios can pair a call with an SMS or email in the same campaign.

## Good practice

* Enroll work numbers, and make sure your security-awareness policy tells employees that simulated messages and calls are part of the program.
* Run the first SMS or voice campaign against a small pilot group.
