# Training campaigns

> Assign courses and policies to employees with due dates, reminders and completion tracking.

A training campaign assigns one or more courses or policies to an audience and tracks completion against a due date.

## Create a campaign

    One or more courses from the library or your own, and any policies requiring acknowledgment.

    Departments, groups or individual employees from your synced directory.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Set the due date and schedule">
    Assign immediately, schedule a start date, or set the campaign to recur so new employees are enrolled automatically.

  <Step title="Configure notifications">
    Employees receive an assignment notice, reminders ahead of the due date, and recurring overdue notices until they complete. Each notification goes by email, or as a Slack direct message if you've [connected Slack](/integrations/slack). Templates and cadence are configured under **Admin → Notifications**.

## Remediation training

A phishing campaign can be configured to assign a course automatically to employees who fail a simulation, so the training follows the event that made it relevant.

## Records

Every assignment, completion, quiz attempt and policy acknowledgment is recorded per employee and available under **Admin → Training → Analytics** for reporting and audits.
