# Training overview

> How Cimento delivers security awareness courses and policy acknowledgments, and what a security admin configures to run a program.

Cimento training delivers courses, lessons and policy acknowledgments to employees and records completion for compliance. Content comes from Cimento's library, from your own files, or from Cimento's AI content generation.

## What you configure

| Area | Where | What it does |

| Content library | Admin → Training → Content library | Cimento-maintained courses and lessons you can assign as-is or copy and edit. |
| Courses and lessons | Admin → Training → Courses | Your own content, built in the editor, imported from PDF or slide decks, or generated with AI. |
| Policies | Admin → Training → Policies | Versioned policy documents employees must read and acknowledge. |
| Campaigns | Admin → Training → Campaigns | Assigns content to an audience with due dates, reminders and completion tracking. |
| Analytics | Admin → Training → Analytics | Completion, scores and overdue status by course, department and employee. |

## Employee experience

Employees are notified by email, or in Slack if you [connect it](/integrations/slack), and complete lessons in the browser. There is nothing to install. Completion earns a certificate, and progress is recorded per lesson so an interrupted course can be resumed.
